On-Site at Keriva Counselling Centre or Telehealth (zoom or phone)

Amanda has a background in Nursing and Counselling and has worked in both clinical and school settings. She brings a caring approach and is passionate about supporting her clients in building resilience, coping skills, setting goals and enhancing their quality of life.

Amanda has an interest in working with people who seek support for:

  • anxiety

  • grief and loss

  • health-related concerns

  • adjustment disorders

  • self-esteem concerns

  • relationship difficulties, and

  • depression

Amanda is focussed on working collaboratively with clients in establishing a therapeutic approach that best suits their individual needs. She utilises frameworks that include but are not limited to:

  • Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and

  • Person-Centred Therapy.
